Turtle birthday to you!!

Morning Folks!

I really can't think where the last fortnight has gone, time seems to be running away from me again!! Roll on next Friday when I am finishing for the summer holidays and might actually find some time to craft!!!

Our new challenge for you over at Here Come the Boys is a nice easy one:

USE A DIGI STAMP

but please remember your creation must be suitable for a male!!

I've used a digi which has been hiding in my collection for a long time, it's called Turtles Birthday from Bugaboo. There's something about this turtle or tortoise that just makes me smile! The stripey paper is from my scraps box, perhaps by crate paper & the sentiment is LOTV .

Thanks for visiting today and also for any comments you might leave! Don't forget to check out the main HCTB blog for some great inspiration from the rest of the team and also take a peek at the prize on offer.
Hope you can find time to join us!!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Lucky Day

Morning Folks!

Happy Monday to you all!! Goodness me, it doesn't really seem five minutes since I posted my first card as a guest DT member over at House Mouse and Friends and suddenly, here I am with my forth and final post - sniffs loudly.....

This time the challenge is to

ADD A CHARM

Here's my card which is a good luck card for someone special who is starting a new job today!
The stamp is another ebay purchase - not exactly a bargain but so worth it- it's called O Lucky Day

Here's a closer look at that cute little mousey face!!

Another stamp where I was really glad of the fine nibs for the trusty promarkers!!
I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to all the team over at House Mouse and Friends for letting me join them for a few weeks - I've loved it!! Please head on over and admire the creations from the rest of the team and check out the lovely prizes on offer!!

Cupcake Anyone???

Hi Folks!
I'm running a bit late today !
Here's my card for the new challenge over at Here Come the Boys which is

LET'S GO DOTTY

We're looking forward to seeing your spotty creations!!

I've used quite an old Pollycraft digi on this card, he's called Spike and he's one of my favourites for masculine cards! I'm really pleased to see Pollycraft  re-opening, I love lots of Paula's designs, but it's probably not going to be good for my bank balance!! The photo anchors by Queen & Co are also nearly antique, from deep in my stash!! Not sure what's happened to the colour on the piccy, in real life the brads are chocolate brown. Perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned chocolate and cake - I'm getting peckish!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:

Clear it out - Masculine and metal (brads, photo anchors)
Little Miss Muffet - Anything goes with Pollycraft image
A gem of a challenge - Father's day / male cards
Sweet stampin - something sweet (cupcake)
The Hobby House - Anything goes
A little bit crafty - Something sweet
Joanna Sheen - Father's day or masculine card

Just Snoozin'

Morning Folks!

Wish I was just able to snooze away in a hammock but sadly half term is over so it's back to work for me today! Still, it's not all bad, there's a new challenge starting over at House Mouse and friends and the theme is one of my favourites:

FOR A MALE

Here's my card for this fortnight ( I can't believe how quickly my guest DT time is going - sniff!), I've used a lovely Gruffies stamp called Hammock hibernation and teamed him up with papers from First Edition New leaf and Blank Canvas pads plus some Graphic 45 French Country papers which reminded me of the hammock pattern. You can also see another bit of the new trellis Memory Box die at the sides - my new favourite toy!! The relax sentiment is from a crafter's companion stamp set.

Thank goodness for fine tips on promarkers when colouring the hammock!!

I also decorated the inside :

Aloysius

Morning Folks!

Goodness me, where did the last fortnight go?? It hardly seems five minutes since I was posting for the last challenge at Here Come the Boys and now it's time for a new one!!
This fortnight is another nice and easy challenge:
USE RIBBONS
but please remember it must be a project for a male!!

I'd like you to meet my new favourite bear for this card - his name is Aloysius from Indigo Blu and I just love that face!! I kept this very simple because I wanted the emphasis to be on the image and used ribbon to add a few finishing touches. The sentiment is by Stampin Up and the backing paper is from Summer Driggs' Boy Oh Boy collection.

Thanks for visiting and please pop over to the main HCTB blog to see the rest of the DT cards from the talented design team!!

I'd also like to enter the following challenges:
