Caffeine high!

Afternoon Folks!
I've been trying to sort out the old files I transferred to my new computer and getting increasingly frustrated with windows 8!! I thought it best to take a break, before the air gets any more blue, so I'm sharing this card that I finished at the weekend.
Pretty simples: House mouse decoupage sheet (from the large collection - lots still to cut out!), papers from LOTV and a couple of square brads from my stash.

This image just makes me smile - those coffee beans must be quite strong!

I'd like to enter this into the challenges at:

Gruffies and Guests - Anything goes option

I love Edwin!!

Morning Folks!
Hope your weekend has started well and that you're keeping warm and cosy!
I'm planning a quiet weekend with a bit of crafting, just keeping my fingers crossed that my plan works out! If you are crafting this weekend don't forget to check out the new challenge at Sweet Stampin' which is an all time favourite of mine:

CUTE AND CUDDLY
and is sponsored by the fabulous Craft Mojo
who are giving our lucky winner a £10 voucher

My stash diet is continuing (painfully) and I also realized  that not only do I have a lot of rubber stamps that have never seen an inkpad, I'm also guilty of hoarding digi stamps and then never printing them out! Here's one such purchase, the super cute Edwin from Digistamp Boutique:

I think I'm in love with this little chap, look at that sweet expression!

The background paper and sentiment is from LOTV, the other paper is from my scraps box. Diecuts are Memory box Pippi Butterfly and Lavish branch - cut on the trusty cuttlebug. The flowers, gems and jute ribbon are from my stash!

Thanks for visiting today and for any comments you leave - I love reading them!

Baby Bunny

Afternoon Folks!
I hope your weekend is going well so far!
I just popped on to share a card I finished last night, but I left photographing it until today when we had a brief but very welcome hint of sunshine. I've been trying to use up old papers and stamps again - so far the stash cut back has lasted - no papers or stamps bought this year but it's hard going!! So many lovely stamps and tempting papers out there... sigh!

Anyhow, I'm not going to be flashing new stash but here's my new baby card using a wooden Happy Hoppers stamp I rescued from Ebay many moons ago.

So cute with her little dummy!

If I have remembered correctly the papers are DCWV and Dovecraft Garden Party. The stamp and matching die cut are by Stampin Up.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Girly but NO pink!

Morning Folks!
Hope you're all OK and have not been blown away by the recent high winds!
Thank goodness it's the weekend, I think I got far too used to relaxing over the festive period, work seems to be hard going!!
Talking of relaxing here's my card for the new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' this week which is

GIRLY BUT NO PINK

kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up

Here's the vision in blue but NO pink!

I had a real struggle with this - I'm not good at girly cards at the best of times and I think Mr Mojo might have got packed in the loft along with the Christmas decorations. Eventually I decided on using this fun image from Bugaboo called Dottie Bath and the sketch over at Passion for Promarkers  :
Challenge 278 - sketch

Here's the bathing beauty and check out the glitter - still on my desk from Crimbo! As I was colouring this it crossed my mind that she probably won't be too happy when she gets out of the bath to find the floor flooded and the downstairs ceiling about to cave in!!
I'm quite pleased with the finished result, it does look something like I imagined, and also I used up some paper scraps and some glass dewdrops that haven't seen the light of day for years. I'm determined to limit my crafty spending this year and try to use up some of my stash before I rush to buy the latest thing or special offer. Have to say though the 'stash diet' is harder going than I thought it would be ... trying not to crack and we are only just into double figures in January!!

Thanks for looking and for any comments too!

New Year Celebrations!

Hi Everyone!!
I'd just like to wish you all a

Happy New Year !!

Here's hoping it's a good one!!

Have you made lots of New Year resolutions?? I'm rubbish at keeping them but after trying to tidy up my room this morning I am really beginning to think I should go on a stash diet .... I didn't really realise how many stamps I have collected this year and how many have not been used - OOPPPSS!! Along with papers I should have enough to last me for at least a year! I've also resolved to try to tidy up as I go along but I can't see that lasting as it doesn't come naturally (or even reluctantly) to me ... LOL!

I grabbed a bit of time to play this afternoon and decided to get cracking and ink up a new HM stamp I got for Christmas - no time like the present and all that.... and I thought these cuties were quite appropriate for New Year celebrations!

Apologies for the photos, my camera is refusing to see gold glitter properly .... looking forward to Spring and some decent light already!!

Here's a closer look at the little mice mounting an expedition to grab that olive!
This stamp is quite small and quite fiddly to colour, thank heavens for fine nibs.
The streamer and the glass have some glitter pen highlights IRL!!

I'd like to enter a few challenges (some things never change) :
